How long have you worked at Joyner Homes?

What do you do at JH?
I am a project manager.  I provide on site coordination for all phases of the construction process, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

If you could switch jobs with someone in Joyner Homes, who would it be? Why?
It’s tough.  I think I have the best job ???? there.

What 3 words would you use to describe Joyner Homes?
Sharp, Fun, Creative

What do you do when you’re not at work?
I spend most of my time when I’m not working with my wife and 3 kids.  We like to take the boat out during the summer and take it easy on the water.  I enjoy pretty much anything outdoors.

What random facts can you share with us?
I play sports left-handed and do everything else right-handed.

Are you messy or organized?
A little bit of both.

What’s your favorite outside activity?
Hunting.

If you could change something about today’s youth, what would it be? Alternately, what excites you about today’s young generation?

I would encourage today’s youth to consider the trades as a future vocation.  We have forgotten to teach this to today’s youth. Something about today’s generation that is neat is they have grown up with so much technology, I believe they will bring advancements in the tech world that will far surpass what we know.

What would you tell your 13-year old self?
Enjoy your free time.

How do you define success?
Setting your sights on something and reaching your goal, even if there are failures along the way.
