The Highlands is one of our single story homes with fantastic features like an open floorplan, split bedrooms (master on one side and other bedrooms on the other), a kitchen island, and the opportunity to add a 3rd car garage and screened porch. We didn’t catch any photos of the outside of this house before the homeowner moved in due to weather, so the rendering will have to do for now!

Before we start the tour, here is the floorplan.

Now, we like to start all tours, both virtual and when you’re in the home itself, at the front door!

This home has an office just as you walk in and a coat closet as well. You can see that as you look back toward the front door from the living room.

A peek into the office…

The Great Room is filled with natural light thanks to the wall of windows. And, the kitchen is close by making it perfect for entertaining! (More in the kitchen later!)

What a cool fireplace detail! Did someone say #shiplap?!

Moving on to the kitchen – plenty of cabinets means plenty of storage in this home!

We’re often asked for the best place for a microwave. This is a good option!

The dining room is brightened up with a sliding door to the back patio.

The Character Rich features continue throughout the home with a barn door and shiplap tray ceiling in the Master.

The Master Bathroom has double sinks and a large walk-in closet.

And, of course, who could do without cubbies in the mudroom to keep everyone organized and clutter at bay!
