It has been quite a while since I have updated the blog about The Buckeye. We’ve been moving right along and made great progress through the winter. Now, we’ll finish it up in time for lemonade sipping on the back porch for summer!

We left off as the walls were being poured. Next up was framing.

Heading down to the basement.

We worked on the outside as well – between snow storms!

Next up comes the brick.

And, the rear view. On a side note, the bike path for this community runs right out their back door!

Now, moving back inside, the drywall is hung! This is looking into the kitchen and seeing the front side of the island.

Doors, trim and paint is up next. Here is the front entryway.

And, now for the fun part. The finishes! First, we worked on jazzing up the fireplace with built in shelving on either side.

Then, the kitchen cabinets.

And, then, most recently, the exterior received a coat of paint! It also received a Joyner Homes sign for the front yard.
