Today I want to introduce you to our Customer Care & Construction Support liaison, the Doer of All Things, Terri Sharrer. You’ll find Terri all over the place. In the office, she keeps us all in order. She’s one of those people that just gets things done. She also deals with permits, groundbreaking photos, etc, etc, etc.
How long have you worked at Joyner Homes?
What do you do at JH?
Permits and gather all info to be able to file for permits like septic systems, driveways, etc., plot plans, utilities, weekly customer updates, weekly photos, office upkeep and supplies, gift baskets, HOA, employee events, BAGI board – and various other things.
If you could switch jobs with someone in Joyner Homes, who would it be? Why?
Tyson or Brent – I love being at the job sites during building and working with the customers.
What 3 words would you use to describe Joyner Homes?
Flourishing, Community-minded, Team
What do you do when you’re not at work?
Go to the gym, bike, hike, play with my dogs, go to car shows and Colts games!
What random facts can you share with us?
I love fast cars and wanted to be the first woman to win the Indy 500.
Are you messy or organized?
Mostly organized – although my desk doesn’t look like it!
What’s your favorite outside activity?
Biking, hiking, taking my dogs to the park
What would you tell your 13-year old self?
Don’t let other people push you around or tear you down so much, and when you get some money – Invest in Microsoft, Apple, and bottled water!
How do you define success?
Being well rounded, open minded, and enjoying life!
