Welcome to our new JH Employee Spotlight! This is a good opportunity to celebrate our employees, as well as get to know everyone a little better! First up - Brittany McDonald, our Operations Manager.

Q. Tell us a little about your family
A. It's just my husband and me, along with our three dogs – Roxi, Rylie and Rue!
A. We love spending time in Indianapolis, Noblesville, and Fortville, soaking up the charm of local eateries, coffee shops, boutiques, and greenhouses!
Q. Favorite travel memory?A. One of my favorite travel memories is visiting Alaska during the summer when there were 21-22 hours of daylight. It was such an unforgettable experience being able to explore for so much longer without worrying about the sun setting. I loved the surreal feeling of never really knowing what time it was! We went hiking at 10 PM, had dinner shortly after, and then drove around Denali until midnight or later. It was such a unique adventure, and one I'll always cherish.
Q. Favorite memory at Joyner Homes?A. There's always a lot of laughter around the offices, but one of my favorite memories has to be from a few years ago when Emily Reid dressed up as the Grinch and took videos around the office. The holiday season is always such a fun time, but that year felt extra special with our very own Grinch spreading even more laughter. It’s moments like those that make working here so memorable!
Q. What is your biggest accomplishment? (personal or work)A. My biggest accomplishment has been pushing myself to continue my education. I finished my MBA in 2023, which was a huge milestone, especially since balancing school, work, and life wasn’t easy.
Q. What is one thing you can't live without?A. Probably Google… I remember my grandparents had a full encyclopedia set, and I used to love flipping through the pages to find random facts. Now, with Google at my fingertips, I don’t have to memorize all those useless facts—I can look up anything I want in seconds!
Q. What artist plays most on your Spotify/apple music?A. It's a three-way tie between Indie Folk Revival Radio, Ian Munsick Radio, and P!nk Radio!
