Q: What do you do for Joyner Homes?

A:I am the Business Development Specialist. I get to make connections & cultivate relationships with builders, developers, and really any and all professionals in the new home building “world”.  Fun stuff!

Q: Tell us about your family!

A: My husband, Chad, and I met at Purdue and have been married for 22 years!  We have three sweet “kiddos”.  Cam, our oldest, just graduated from Purdue and accepted a job in Nashville, TN working for a music company, so we’re looking forward to many visits to Music City!  Our Daughter, Lilly, is a junior at Ball State University and has her heart set on working with children and becoming a Child Life Specialist!  Her dream is to work at Riley Hospital. Our youngest, Charlie, is a junior at Mt. Vernon High School and keeps us extremely busy with his travel soccer and track schedules! He also loves to play guitar, so we often receive serenades in the evenings when he’s not busy.

Q: If you had a free day to yourself, what would you do?

A: I would start by finding a new-to-me small town and take a fitness class.  I would make my way to a café to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee/mimosa and brunch with a friend, and then browse the local shops. I’d find time to clean my house a bit while enjoying a good podcast/book and then make dinner with my husband while listening to some music.  After that, I would put some comfy pj’s on and watch a documentary…or, let’s be honest, maybe a little trash/reality tv. 

Q: How about a random fact or two?

A: I have taught fitness classes for 12+ years at our local wellness center.  Spin is probably my favorite class to teach, but I have taught many things over the years including HIIT classes, boxing, strength training, Silver Sneakers, PiYo, Insanity, etc.!
