It's something different for everyone. We all have our own ideas of what makes a house feel like a home and most of the time, it's not always the big things. It's the little things that we get so used to that we don't even think twice about.
Think about your daily routine at home.
Maybe you start every morning with a cup of coffee in your favorite spot, spend your evenings curled up on the couch watching your favorite show, or look forward to getting home and changing into your comfiest clothes after a long day.
They're such simple things that you probably don't even think twice about them, but they're part of what makes your home feel like yours.
And sometimes, you don't even realize how much you appreciate those little routines until you've been away for a few days and can't wait to get back to them.
One of the best parts of having a home is getting to make it yours. And no, that doesn't mean every room has to look like something straight out of a magazine.
Maybe it's the family photos hanging on the walls, the decorations you look forward to bringing out every holiday, or that one piece of furniture you've had forever and can't imagine getting rid of.
