Joyner Homes is looking for a Construction Superintendent to help us build cool homes all over Hancock County!

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background of construction experience as well as a positive attitude and willingness to create a Remarkable Experience for our customers.

Job Duties

– Provide excellent customer service to customer during the construction process
– Deliver homes within Joyner Homes standards of quality and contracted scope of work
– Manage day to day activities related to scheduling subcontractors
– Manage the maintenance and overall appearance of all Joyner Homes communities and homes under construction
– Hold subcontractors accountable to performing entire scope of works within scheduled time frame
– Perform customer orientations on new homes
– Manage warranty requests
– Produce and distribute weekly schedule
– Punch-out homes and coordinate completion of noted items
– Schedule deliveries for builder provided materials
– Enforce Joyner Homes policies with subcontractors including job site cleanliness, parking and smoking
– Manage excess materials on the job site
– Capture data to improve Joyner Homes process and construction details
– Utilizes technology to improve the construction process
– Reports to Construction Manager and Owner

– Basic knowledge of new home construction
– Self motivated, detail oriented and organized
– Exceptional time management skills
– Ability to work with distractions and still accomplish daily goals
– Ability to work with distractions
– Communication skills, including expressing instructions clearly to subcontractors and handling customer requests
– General computer skills and willingness to learn an internet-based scheduling system
– Proficient in Microsoft Applications
– Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
