Here we are in March – almost April! Things are moving right along despite the strong winter we have had. When we left off in February, we were working cabinets and trim. A lot has happened since then!
This is a custom built in for the mudroom entrance off the garage. It was built on the great room floor!
And, here it is installed.
We started installing a pretty sweet set up in the laundry room. This will eventually have shelves for laundry baskets and a folding table. It also has a built-in ironing board which you can see under the window.
The tiling was started throughout the house. You can see the floor in the previous photo. Here are some shots of the walk in shower in the master bath.
We installed this super-cool, undermount, apron front, farmhouse sink. How’s that for descriptive? You can also see the hardwood floors peeking through in this photo.
Lighting and granite tops for the kitchen are up next.
And another view of the kitchen with a shot of the grotto over the stove.
Bath vanity tops were next. These are porcelain undermount sinks that are in a square shape which adds a little more interest. The master bath is first.
Then, the guest bath.
Once the weather started behaving again, we headed back outside. Since it is a corner lot, there was a bunch of sidewalk to pour.
Then, came the front porch.
And, then the driveway. You can see the trim painting has also started.
Watch for next month as things really start to come together with all of the finishing touches! Believe it or not, this one is only about 5 weeks from completion!
