Today I want to introduce you to our other New Home Specialists, Emily Fletcher. She is the other girl you want to talk to when interested in building a new home with us. You’ll most often find her at the Summerset model home, located at 1562 Summerwood Blvd, off of Blue Road. If that address doesn’t come up on a map search, just follow the signs, you can’t miss it! You can add Emily’s contact info to your phone from this link!
How long have you worked at Joyner Homes?
Since February 2018
What do you do at JH?
I’m a New Home Specialist.
If you could switch jobs with someone in Joyner Homes, who would it be? Why?
Sandy – I love to see how the home finally comes full circle and be a part of the process of why the customers choose what they do.
What 3 words would you use to describe Joyner Homes?
Trust/Integrity. Teamwork. Accountable (That’s four. But who’s counting!?) 🙂
What do you do when you’re not at work?
If I am not at a baseball game for my boys, I am at a gymnastic competition for my daughter. We also are outside all the time when the weather is nice. We’re in the pool if we have time, or doing yard work, or playing family baseball.
What random facts can you share with us?
My parents are building a Joyner Home in Summerset.
Are you messy or organized?
I am organized, unless you are comparing me to Lisa. Then, I am considered messy.
What’s your favorite outside activity?
Planting flowers, laying out by the pool, kayaking……..there is more, but I can’t choose.
If you could change something about today’s youth, what would it be? Alternately, what excites you about today’s young generation?
Better communication! I feel like with technology at everyone’s finger tips, it is easy to lose sight of how to interact with one another. I do feel like the youth is better at making themselves heard, but maybe that’s just my kids when they want something and I’ve said no a million times! 😉
What would you tell your 13-year old self?
Discover who you are first, before you get so wrapped up in trying to please everyone.
How do you define success?
I feel like what keeps playing in my mind is, what made me better today than I was yesterday? A lot of people have the meaning of success to them is that “they’ve made it.” My 1 year goals are different than my 5 year goals, and life could change at any given moment, so to me if I can learn one more thing or become more consistent or whatever it may be that makes me a more well-rounded individual, then I am succeeding.
I hope you enjoyed our spotlight on Emily! I’ll trickle through the entire team in the next several weeks ….. in the meantime, you can see and read more about who we are HERE. Stop by and meet Emily at the model home and let her show you around …. We actually have a home ready to move in to, the beautiful Asheville in McKenzie Glen, that she can also show you around!
