Home Redefined is a series of posts about Jenn and Lexi, a high energy, creative, adventurous, fearless mother daughter duo. We had the honor of building their dream home in Summerset and we are just as excited as they are! We wanted to capture their building experience through a blog series. This is the fourth post in the Home Redefined Series!

We are getting so close to the finish line! Jenn & Lexi’s house is coming along beautifully! And, talk about storage! This home has tons of it. As the end is drawing near, we asked Lexi about a few of her favorite things in their new house. It’s very obvious that she is beyond excited and we can’t wait for their move in day! Keep reading to find out what features Lexi is the most eager to see.

{What are you most excited about?}

The kitchen!!! Because I get to try my new recipes. And of course my room upstairs all to myself.

{What are your favorite features of the whole house?}

The wooden carved beam in the kitchen. The barn door. I love the built ins throughout the whole house!!! My room, the mud room, the laundry room, the fireplace. I also like Mom’s bedroom ceiling. I think that is cool!

{What are your favorite features of your space(s) in your new home?}

The angled room, attic look in my room. My built ins and a place for my hanging chair.  In the kitchen I like that the microwave is separate from the stove. And I like the big island to sit, eat and work.

{Why did you choose the items that you chose?}

Because I love the country life, but wanted to have a little class to it too. HA!  I wanted a room to myself, so my bedroom/the upstairs bonus room has everything in one area. I could stay up there for days. And Mom may be ok with that. LOL!!!

{How do you plan on decorating? What’s your style?}

Well, of course upstairs in my room is classy country. Downstairs we LOVE QUOTES!!! ALL QUOTES!!! And Mom says we have a very eclectic style. I’ll send pictures once we move in. HA!!

Jenn & Lexi’s house looks amazing. Lexi’s room/loft is going be every teenagers’ dream room. The angles and built-ins upstairs add so much character and the barn door at the bottom of the stairs is a great way to close off that area when needed. Their home features modern farmhouse design trends and eye appealing storage. The open concept style will be great for entertaining. We will definitely want to see pictures once they are moved in!

Move in day is quickly approaching and we can’t wait to see their home completed! Continue to follow this series with this post!
